Our verdict
On Bickenhill Pkwy in Solihull and the NEC, 7.5 miles from New Street: that is where Premier Inn Birmingham NEC Airport hotel sits. It is on the NEC and Resorts World complex, so the halls are a walk rather than a drive.
Birmingham Airport is 1.2 miles away. On parking, own car park, reported at £15 per 24 hours. Guests report the hotel's own car park at around £15 for 24 hours. There is no footpath to the NEC and the route follows a busy road.
On sleeping configuration: family rooms sleeping two adults and two children.. That comes from guest reports rather than the operator, so confirm it when you book.
Only one of the Birmingham destinations we measure is within fifteen minutes on foot from here: the NEC Birmingham, about 15 minutes. Everything else means transport.
Its closest neighbour in our selection is ibis Birmingham Airport - NEC, 0.65 miles away. Against that one, this hotel has the family rooms it lacks and parks your car where that one cannot.
It qualifies for our hotels with parking and family hotels comparisons, which is a reasonable shorthand for what it is good at.
The other side of that: the city centre is 7.5 miles away, so an evening in town needs a plan for the journey back.

- Family and room setup
- Family rooms sleeping two adults and two children. Guest report
A facility missing from this list means we did not establish it, not that the hotel lacks it. We do not fill gaps with assumptions.
